To promote the spirit of good sportsmanship and friendly competition among the youth with a Christian perspective.

Vision

To provide our community with a fun, safe and exciting sports activity that keeps our young people off the street and involved in a positive Christian base ministry.

 

Major Features of the 2012 Basketball Classic

  • 5 on 5
  • Single elimination with 3 games guaranteed (if registered by Thursday August 16th)
  • Ages 7-18
  • 4 divisions (up to 10 players per team)
  • T-shirts for all participants, medals and trophies for each division champions and 2nd place.

Components

  • Devotions and character development activities.
  • Youth-lead activities that support development of creativity.
  • Activities that support healthy behavior and physical well-being, &
  • Activities that support the development of new skills.

 

Registration

1) Online at @ www.kzoodc.org/events/basketball-classic from August 1 – August 12

2) At KDC: 1010 N. Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49007 from August 1 – August 12, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

3) At the Basketball Courts from August 13 – August 18:

  • Monday August 13, 2012 – 5 pm till 6:30 pm
  • Tuesday August 14, 2012 – 5 pm till 6:30 pm
  • Wednesday August 15, 2012 – 5 pm till 6:30 pm
  • Thursday August 16, 2012 – Starting at noon
  • Friday August 17, 2012 – Starting at noon
  • Saturday August 18, 2012 – Starting at 8:30 am

 

Registration Fees:

INDIVIDUAL

  • $10 per person from August 1 – August 12
  • $15 per person from August 13 – August 17
  • $20 per person on August 18th

TEAM

  • $100 per team from August 1 – August 12
  • $120 per team from August 13 – August 17
  • $150 per team on August 18th
